Little Addis Café
A delightful and authentic Ethiopian experience.
Little Addis Café is part restaurant, part wholehearted introduction to Ethiopian cuisine and culture. This unpretentious little spot sticks firmly to its roots: no diluted crowd-pleasers or Westernised options, just authentic, home-style Ethiopian cooking. The menu itself is part of the experience, filled with insights into Ethiopian food traditions and coffee culture. Sharing is the central theme here, embodied by the generously portioned beyaynetu and mahberawi platters. Soft, tangy injera is layered with an assortment of small dishes: lentils, pumpkin, chickpea gravy, spinach, potatoes, beetroot and tomatoes in the case of the vegan beyaynetu option, and chicken, beef, lamb, pumpkin, cabbage, spinach, potatoes and beetroot for the mahberawi. Generously spiced stews and other individual mains are available, too. And then there’s the coffee – rich, fragrant and essential to the experience.
Don't leave without trying:
Mahberawi, available in a full or half portion and perfect for sharing.
