Pizza Connection is located in the buzzing neighbourhood of Woodstock, in the space that housed the legendary Dom Pedro pizza joint a while back. It opened in 2021 and has settled in nicely, to the point where it’s now known for serving some of the best pizza in Cape Town. There are two kinds of bases in the menu – Neapolitan and Roman style – and you can be sure that the food will be prepared with love and attention using only the best imported Italian and local ingredients. From a very wide range of pizzas to choose from, you could opt for a gourmet pizza such as the Capetonian (fior di latte, pancetta, red onion and avocado) or something more traditional, like the Boscaiola (home-made Italian sausage, fior di latte and mushrooms). Service is friendly, and the space is relaxed and welcoming. Save some room for the delicious tiramisu, or a killer Don Pedro, at the end of the meal.
