Overlooking the Richards Bay waterfront, Sindu offers a genuine community feel and a menu that swings confidently between fresh sushi, pizza, seafood, signature steaks and more. By day, it's relaxed and welcoming, encouraging visitors to “Dine with us, don’t break your bank.” You can start your day here with a good cup of coffee and a selection of reasonably priced breakfasts (their avo toast goes for R65). Come evening, particularly on weekends, the energy ramps up considerably with craft cocktails, good music and a crowd that knows how to have a good time. After dinner, retreat to the cigar and whisky lounge for a nightcap with views over the water. Sindu is the kind of place that caters for every occasion, from a quiet family lunch to a birthday blowout complete with French Champagne and every guest dressed to the nines.

Don't leave without trying:
The succulent pork shank eisbein: crispy-fried and smothered with honey-mustard sauce, accompanied by roasted veggies.
