Although fairly new on the scene, this Mediterranean-inspired kitchen on the Capelands Boutique Wine Estate has already made its mark. The estate boasts sweeping views over False Bay and the food is wholesome, lovingly prepared and beautifully presented. The menu offers home-made pasta, salads made using ingredients from their garden, organic meat and duck and fresh fish, and explores the wide-ranging cuisine of the Med, from Italy to Morocco. The food is paired with the wines produced on the estate, which are made with care in small batches according to ancient Italian traditions. Visiting here makes you feel as if you’ve traded Cape Town for Tuscany, without the flight.
