Al Firenze has been serving excellent quality, authentic Italian food in the heart of La Lucia since 1990, and its fans keep on coming back for more. You’ll find all the comforting classics here, from antipasti of arancini, artichokes baked with Parmesan and garlic, mussels, trifolati (porcini mushrooms with garlic, olive oil and parsley), and melanzane Parmigiana. Soups and salads segue into crispy-based pizzas with toppings that will suit every palate, while the pasta menu covers everything from tried-and-trusted favourites such as carbonara and Napoletana, as well lesser-known options such as rosette – home-made spinach pasta rolled with cheese, topped with ham and cheese sauce and baked in the wood-fired oven. Substantial meat, chicken and seafood dishes round out the menu, including the signature whole fresh fish of the day, plus prawns, langoustines and a seafood platter. Finish off with a tiramisu to complete the Italian experience.
