Located on Constantia Uitsig Wine Estate in Cape Town’s south, this relaxed, family-friendly spot is a light, airy space with vineyard views and a seasonal menu that will appeal to everyone. Enjoy breakfast or brunch before you explore the estate – you’ll be tempted by the likes of the eggs Florentine, benedict, royale or Provençal, as well as croissants, bagels and granola – plus options the kids will love. Lunch and dinner offer both small and larger plates, as well as charcuterie and cheese platters, perfect for a quick bite with a glass of the estate’s wine. If you’re settling in for longer, choose between sharing plates including fritto misto squid, pulled pork bao and “popcorn” chicken with honey gochujang and spring onion. If you’re hungrier, burgers, steaks, pastas, ribs and lamb chops will hit the spot. There’s also a kiddies’ play area to keep the little ones occupied.
