Father Coffee
A standout coffee spot with a bakery and wine bar to match.
Father Coffee takes its craft seriously, sourcing coffees by provenance, varietal and processing method, then roasting them at its Kramerville headquarters. The second, Rosebank space is bright and beautifully designed, with an in-house bakery turning out sourdough, pastries and cakes daily (try the burnt Basque cheesecake or orange-and- honey spelt cake). The all-day breakfast and lunch menus build on that bread: think folded eggs (a scrambled-omelette hybrid) on toasted sourdough focaccia, a beef shortrib sandwich, or a coronation chicken focaccia loaded with mango chutney and almond flakes. From Wednesday to Sunday, the adjoining wine bar pours a rotating selection of wines by the glass (or bottle, if you’re feeling frisky after all that coffee), alongside bar snacks built for pairing.
Don't leave without trying:
The sourdough in any form it takes, whether toasted, topped or turned into a sandwich.
