Pantry by Marble

Opened in 2022 by the team behind Marble, Saint and Zioux restaurants, Pantry reimagined the humble forecourt shop as something genuinely special. It's been going strong, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, ever since. Celebrated chef David Higgs's culinary fingerprints are all over the food offering here, which means the result is more gastropub than garage pie. Think wood-fired pizzas, freshly baked bread and pastries, and gourmet ready meals. On the retail side you’ll find everything from washing powder to Wagyu beef patties. Oh, and did we mention the curated selection of local wines and international Champagne? Whether it's 2pm or 2am, you might just find yourself topping up your tank as an excuse to nip in and grab something that feels, in the words of the team behind Pantry, “fancy but easy”. Other Pantry branches are located in Hazelwood and Bassonia, with a pop-up at The MARC in Sandton.
