La Boqueria Parktown North

La Boqueria brings a lively slice of Spain to Parktown North, designed to feel as though you’ve pulled up a barstool somewhere in Barcelona. With parquet flooring, a veritable jungle of plants suspended in macramé holders and outsized murals, it’s an inviting space that sets the tone for a night of decadence. The menu is inspired by Hispanic food markets around the world and encourages a graze-and-share approach. Start with para picar nibbles – think blistered edamame beans or salmon ceviche – then move onto a moreish array of tapas; the likes of crispy squid, jamon croquettes and authentic corn tacos. Mains are divided into three sections: Coal & Hearth (meat dishes cooked over coals); Paelleras (paella and Valencian fideuà); and Feasting (generous servings made to share).
