Mosaic Pizzeria

Every small town deserves a good, old-fashioned pizzeria, and Mosaic is Clarens’s. The space leans into rustic appeal – with the corrugated-iron roofing and siding, a patio strung with fairy lights, and a lawn complete with kiddies’ play area, you could be at the home of a friendly neighbour. The pizzas zooming out of the wood-fired oven are, of course, the order of the day, but you’ll find satisfying pastas and grill items on the menu, too. There’s a special just about every day of the week, such as the Twosome Tuesday burger deal, or Wonderful Family Wednesdays, when kids and pets eat free. Live music on select nights completes the feel-good vibes, so grab a cold one (there’s beer and gin on tap) and a seat outside to catch the sun setting over the sandstone mountains.
