North Beach Lifestyle
An inclusive Golden Mile experience that combines good food, good vibes and those unbeatable ocean views.
Right on Snell Parade, with the Indian Ocean doing its thing a stone’s throw away, North Beach Lifestyle is a beachfront gathering spot where food, music and culture converge. Co-owners Senzo and Andile Shangase built the place with a clear vision: to be an inclusive space for locals and tourists alike to be able to kick back and enjoy Durban’s Golden Mile in all its glory. The menu keeps things casual and crowd-pleasing: think cheap-and-cheerful breakfasts, hefty meat platters, chicken-and-chips combos and lunchbox meals. There’s also a burger with a house-made patty that really hits the spot. And what would a prime beach location be without sundowner hour? Between the cocktails and DJ sets, North Beach Lifestyle has summer nights covered.
Don't leave without trying:
The popular North Beach Lifestyle platter, a generous affair complete with 600g beef steak, 450g boerewors, six wings, 300g pork ribs and chips.
