This insanely popular eatery might be located in the industrial area of Strand but believe us when we say that vibe stops when you enter the doors. Inside, everything is beautifully stylish and considered, from the decor and the food, to the staff’s serene outfits. There’s no denying there’s an eye for presentation here; it’s almost impossible to decide where to look, everything is attractive (and most of it is for sale; there are lots of vintage finds here). So let your eyes wander over to the patisserie counter, where there are baked treasures waiting to be ordered, or peruse the menu, which holds gorgeous breakfasts (including gingerbread French toast with honey-whipped ricotta and roasted nuts) and delectable lunches such as an apricot harissa beef flatbread with beetroot labneh and hummus. The drinks menu is just as inventive and offers delights like a strawberry-and-white-chocolate milkshake, and fabulous fresh juices. Service is friendly and efficient. Bookings on weekdays only, on Saturdays you take your chances.
