In a town brimming with fine-dining establishments, Allora offers a relaxed yet sophisticated option that always delivers on flavour. The menu leans Italian, with spuntini (snacks) such as polpette (Italian meatballs) in a Napoletana sauce, grilled artichokes and grilled prawn skewers. Move onto antipasti, salads and focaccia, before trying to choose between the many pastas, from the classics to risotto and gnocchi. Secondi bring beef, lamb, veal and fish, and then there’s the pizza, which is thin and crispy and generously topped with the freshest ingredients. The service is good and the prices reasonable – it’s no wonder that Allora is consistently popular with both locals and visitors.
