Furny’s Fine Wines and Taste Room

This restaurant and wine bar offers over 70 wines by the glass at the tasting room, and over 400 to peruse in the boutique wine shop. It’s a relaxed and casual spot, with outdoor seating under the trees that has fans particularly enjoying the laid-back Noordhoek vibe. The menu is mainly centred around sharing platters, perfect for pairing with a glass or two – responsibly, of course. The grazing platter serves two comfortably, and consists of a variety of charcuterie, nuts, cheeses, breads, dips and preserves, and can be customised for vegetarians. Alternatively, create your own from the other options on the DIY menu, which is available on request. Other options include gourmet toasted sandwiches such as mozzarella and truffle oil, as well as a few salads and soups, and some delectable desserts. There’s also an on-site deli selling treats to take home, and free wine-tasing between 4:30 and 6:30pm on Fridays.
