Limoncello Ristorante

Undoubtedly one of the most beloved local eateries in Noordhoek, the charming Limoncello Ristorante forms part of a buzzing dining hub in a residential area here, which is one of the reasons it’s a true neighbourhood gem. The other reasons are the wonderful food and the welcoming service. The outside seating under the trees and fairy lights don’t hurt, either. The food is southern Italian in style, which means there’s always something interesting from the sea, although it must be said that most people’s eyes go straight to the pizza section. You can’t go wrong with the latter, but it’s always worth asking what’s on special, as these items are invariably delicious. Popular non-pizza choices include the beef tartare and grilled calamari for starters, and the seafood pasta and the moreish gnocchi for mains. On busy (and cold) nights, the interior can get quite loud and you might have to use your outdoor voice – but that’s all part of the Italian charm!
