There are some who believe this bakery serves the best breakfasts in Knysna, and who are we to argue? This award-winning eatery is known for its spectacular breads (baked in a wood-fired oven), glorious pastries, wonderful breakfast selection and outstanding coffee. The sarmies and salads are popular too, but the breakfast menu deserves a particular shoutout – from an indulgent French toast to eggs in all kinds of ways, there’s something for every taste. Service is friendly and accommodating but can slow down a notch when the place gets packed, so bear that in mind. On good weather days, the terrace is absolutely the place to be. The eatery participates in local festivals such as Italy In Town and the Oyster Festival with curated menus, and keep an eye out for sophisticated special events including wine pairings with local wine estates.
