Jinsei
A considered and energetic celebration of Asian cuisines.
Jinsei – meaning “life” in Japanese – offers a bold, immersive take on pan-Asian dining. The space is split into two distinct moods. Downstairs, an open kitchen hums with energy as woks flare, robata grills crackle and chefs work within centimetres of diners, just like in Japan’s street-side restaurants. The menu draws inspiration from across Japan, Vietnam, Korea and China, and whether you’re a sushi addict, a bao devotee, or anything in between, you’ll find depth and balance in every bite. Upstairs, the atmosphere softens into a refined lounge, where low lighting, natural textures and a polished aesthetic invite you to linger over a sake- or soju-based cocktail (buy two, get a third free during the Tokyo After Dark special on Fridays). Jinsei is a thoughtfully crafted experience that lovers of Asian food will want to return to again and again.
Don't leave without trying:
The robata-grilled Cape bream – whole grilled fish in a ponzu mirin with kombu yuzu dressing.
