Anyone familiar with the N2 between Plettenberg Bay and Nature’s Valley will know about the beautiful Old Nick famer’s village on the way – but the presence of the Nice Neighbour Café makes it an essential stop for breakfast, lunch or just a cup of coffee. It’s a light and airy spot with plenty of outdoor seating – and a lovely play area for the kiddos. The bread is freshly baked, and you can look forward to proper, slow-fermented sourdough. In fact, there’s a lot of delicious baked treats to be had here, from a tasty pain au chocolat to various cakes and tarts. The bakery counter is very hard to resist. Apart from a joyful breakfast menu, you can expect sandos, burgers and pizza for lunch, and it’s no secret that Plett locals often pick up a hot pizza to go for dinner. The coffee is good (the same goes for the smoothies) and service is very friendly.

Don't leave without trying:
