This popular Italian eatery forms part of the Dalla Cia stable (known for their excellent grappa and wines) and has become known for serving unpretentious, authentic Tuscan-style food in a homely and welcoming setting. The blackboard menu is based on seasonality so it changes often, but there will always be tasty pastas, veal and pork dishes. Look out for special treats like osso bucco and Tuscan soup. Diners have also been known to wax lyrical about the tiramisu… The food is paired well with the Dalla Cia wines, as well as some imported Italian bottles. The decor is simple and comfortable, the atmosphere is welcoming and service is very friendly. Often described as a “home away from home” restaurant (which is what we like to hear about family-run eateries), it’s good to know that they’re also open on Mondays, which is not that common in the area.
