This restaurant offers a setting that makes you feel as if you’re sitting on the pavement in a small town in Italy, only it’s in charming Stellenbosch. The pizzas and pastas are equally good and the owner is always there, ready to share a story or to listen to yours. Popular choices on the menu include the basil pesto pizza and tortellini pasta with ham, cream and peas. The feeling of sitting in a European café is further enhanced by the number of Aperol spritz cocktails that appear on the tables here! The eatery is known for its friendly service, but it can slow down a bit when it gets busy. Another plus is that the food is well-priced in what can be an expensive part of town.
