The Stud franchise of burger joints has quite a few locations across the country and their focus is quite simple: no frills, no fuss, no bull – just beef. They offer a limited but highly focused menu built around their supply of single-origin Boran stud beef. The star of the show is the Stud Burger, a double Boran beef patty with Cheddar and all the trimmings on a brioche bun. The Junior burger has a single patty for those with smaller appetites, and a vegan burger and a hybrid burger (veggie patty + Cheddar) and fries round out the offering. The strength of the food lies in its simplicity – expect flavourful food made with care. The decor is simple but striking and the venues are very takeaway-forward. The vibe is young and trendy, with strong branding (such as branded wines in cans) and cool caps that have become something of a must-wear.
