This stylish eatery is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week and has been wowing locals with fantastic food since its opening. For breakfast, you might dig into a serving of Turkish eggs with flatbread and Tandoori oil, while the small-plates menu offers bites such as tuna tostada with chipotle and yuzu guacamole, or mushroom churros with Parmesan and thyme. Signature dishes for lunch and dinner include confit pork belly with fennel, apple and wholegrain mustard, or crayfish orzo with a bisque reduction, lemon and chives. As befitting of a winelands restaurant, there’s a solid wine list (albeit on the higher end of the price scale) and drinks list (including interesting cocktails, such as the Cape Chamomile martini). The decor is sleek and sophisticated – this is a fabulous spot for a date night or special occasion, and the excellent service will only add to the experience. There’s also a snazzy rooftop venue you might want to think about for events.
